Social Commitment

Everyone, as part of his or her social commitment should be passionate about the welfare of animals. It's our responsibility to assist and educate people at large about the importance of responsible dog ownership. It should be our endeavour to raise funding and support the less fortunate dogs or those that are stray.

The mission of dog welfare can be in arrangement with the community events and not-for-profit organizations.

Among companion animals, dogs are unmatched in their devotion, loyalty and friendship to humankind. Anyone who has ever loved a dog can attest to its hundred-fold return. The excitement your dog shows when you come home, the wagging tail at the sound of the leash being taken from its hook, the delight in the tossing of a tennis ball, and the head nestled in your lap-those are only some of the rewards of being a dog owner.

Owning a dog is not just a privilege - it's a responsibility. These animals depend on us for food and shelter at least, and deserve much more. If you are considering taking a dog into your life, you need to think seriously about the commitment that dog ownership entails. If you already have a dog, you need to consider if you are fulfilling all your obligations as its owner.

Our Aim

To teach the citizens of India and their families how to care for and nurture dogs, especially street dogs, plus teach children to be kind to animals.

In addition to our 24/7 Street Dog Care and Shelter Facility we are running programmes for children, we are also educating people using new technology on the importance of knowing and understanding, feeding and nurturing dogs. Currently we run this in Delhi and the NCR Region.

Citizens who choose to participate in the programme, get a chance to see rehab of street dogs back to better health with the support of Rita Singh and her organization ‘Krishna Ashram’.

We stress on the importance of providing clean water and food to the dogs, and getting them treatment for parasitic ailments with the help of a Veterinary Specialist. We also give the dogs their initial ‘shots’. People are truly amazed to see the street dogs after just 7-10 days of rehab treatment.
